2024 Christmas Update and Gratitude
In this 2024 Christmas Update we have a ton of things to be grateful for this year. What a year 2024 has been… So many great wins but also so many lessons learned too.
Typically, we would write a poem each year, but as we’ve upped our game in supporting local this year, it felt more fitting to share this with you instead.
Server Upgrades
This year has seen some big upgrades in server software. We ended the year with PHP v8.4 and MySQL v8 upgrades on our servers. These have brought about significant performance improvements.
Customer Support Improvements
Since we started in 2000, it’s been no secret that big corporations treat their customers poorly. The businesses that thrive and really do become “next level” are realising it can never happen with third-world services and the lack of support that goes with it.
Supporting our clients properly has always been a #1 priority. We now have our client onboarding process in place. So that all new clients get a full 1-2-1 session to show them around and introduce them to everything that matters to them. We have been testing this out over the last few years and it has proven to be very popular and greatly appreciated by all clients migrating their websites to us.
Supporting Local
Supporting local has been at the very heart of everything we do and have done for the last few decades. Anybody who knows us will know that and has experienced and seen it. 2024 has been no different.
This year we’ve shifted our focus with The Air Cadets over to a more local squadron here in Croydon. You may have also seen our post about starting Community Cleanup UK.
Our goal for 2025 is to be able to support several local charities through the work we’re doing in our local communities.
You wont see us sponsoring a few beers at a local bar or paying for banners at events we never show up to. We put your money where it actually matters.
This is why we never loose sight of how grateful we are to all of you who allow us to do that and support us.
You really are “supporting Local” in ways that very few others can ever claim to do.
The Year Ahead
Content, Content, Content is what 2025 is going to be about! We’ve coached many businesses over the last few decades with their marketing, tech skills and how they run their business.
Now we’re driving home the importance of content. Some of the businesses we have helped are really becomgin “Next Level” having understood the importance of content.
2025 will now be the start of our own content drive, both for our website, and that of our community projects too. Video content will hopefully feature far more.

As we close off the year, we’d like to wish you and all those you care about, a warm and Happy Christmas and hope you are spending it with those you care about making memories that matter.
