Companies House Fraud Alert.

Police have issued advice for users of Companies House about scam attempts aimed at company owners.

Did anybody contact you claiming to be from Companies House? Did they ask for verification of your web filing authentication codes?

People have been contacted by phone, email and post to try to trick them into giving out their details.

Their staff will never phone you to ask for your filing codes. If anyone claiming to be from Companies House contacts you, ask for a phone number and call Companies House.
