Furthermore, we don’t stop at supplying a multi-website hosting plan, that would just be too easy. Because when we say “We’ve got your back”, we really mean it!
With our Reseller Assurance Program, we also support you indirectly, giving you peace of mind if you’re not able to support your own customers! So, what exactly does all this mean? Frequently Asked Reseller Web hosting Questions
Here are some questions we get asked quite often.
Am I entering a contract?
No, you are free to cancel your reseller web hosting at any time prior to its renewal. We would however obviously like to know in advance, as far as possible, as maybe there is something we could help with, such as features or software that you might need, and didn’t realise we could install in a few minutes for you.
Can I access advanced DNS in my cPanels
Yes, absolutely, so long as you enable it in the features list when creating your hosting plans, it will be available with each of your cPanels.
How many reseller slices should I order?
If you have 10 websites or less and the combined usage of all 10 is less than 10GB of disk space and 20GB of monthly traffic then only 1 slice is needed. Once you exceed 10GB of space or 20GB of monthly traffic, you should upgrade to 2 slices or more. Whichever resource need is greatest.
Can I use custom name servers?
Ideally, you would stick to using our clustered DNS name servers as this provides redundancy should your reseller server need replacing urgently, allowing us to bring a new server online immediately, or if we need to move your reseller plan to a different server, our DNS can manage everything allowing no downtime and instant switchovers. You can use your own custom name servers if you really want to, however you will need to set these up yourself and manage them yourself.
Can you import my cPanel accounts for me?
Yes. If your existing websites elsehwere are on a cPanel server, we can transfer them for you and add them to your reseller account. Simply open a support ticket to give us the cPanel login details securely and we’ll do the rest.
Is reseller web hosting right for me?
Taking on a Reseller Web Hosting account and becoming the middle-man between your clients and their websites is a big responsibility. You are now becoming their web hosting company, and as such, will need to field calls and emails from your clients for every aspect of their web hosting that you set up. You are also taking on the responsibility of billing and server admin too, on top of building their websites, and providing them support 24/7, even if you go on holiday.
You should consider these things and plan for them carefully before deciding.
